Parked for winter

I never completely "park" my bike for winter...I keep fuel stabilizer in the tank and have a battery tender hooked up, but it's always ready to ride in the event of nice weather...

I do the same. Bites me in the ass every now and again though. Sux riding home for an hour in 28F....stupid Denver weather.

I ride and commute all year round. Last few winters it's not been too bad, I've ridden in -5c when it's dry, not too bad when the roads are gritted. Only missed one or two days a year through icy weather.

I used to ride 365 and have brushed snow off the instruments before driving off on many occasions but that was many year ago on a 250 - certainly not on the Rocket!

Boy, to live up north sux! Down here in LA (lower Alabama) we look forward to the winter weather. Currently still in the eighties and still humid! It does get cool in the winter, all the way down into the lower 50-60s during the day in the coldest months. I love riding with the cooler temperatures. Of course we pay for it in the hot and muggy summers with temps into the 90-100s and very humid. However, we don't have snow and can ride all year round; jacket in the winter, long sleeve shirt in the summer, and fun all year round!
