Park Up Slope and Use a Rear Wheel Chock When Washing

I may have already told this one on myself. I pulled up to a gas pump in a little rural town and kicked the stand down. It bounced back up..... leaned her over and she immediately pinned my leg to the gas pump. I was trapped. It took too guys who were changing a flat to help me get out. Luckily no damage other than dignity.

Center stand

Hi guy's just a thought does anyone make a center stand for the rocket? Cleaning and checking fluid levels on a goldwing i owned was dead easy, also if i wasn't going to use it for a week or so i'd put it on the center stand.

There's a technique to picking a heavy bike up that worked great for me from the "Ride Like a Pro V" video. You back up to the bike, squat with the small of your back to the seat, grab the bike as low as you can, and then push up and backward using your legs.

Even a fully loaded Rocket will stand back up with ease. I should have got Robin to video tape me picking BB back up and posted it...but I was panicked and not thinking about anything but my own embarrassment.

Maybe there's a youtube of that technique out there somewhere. I'll see if I can find one.

I dumped my Street Bob once. I was doing a U-turn and had to stop to wait for traffic. I hit a slick spot with my boot when I put my foot down and the bike started over. I caught traction with my foot but the bike was too far over for me to lift back up. I had to gently let it go on down. Fortunately, a human tree trunk came along a couple of seconds later and he hopped out of his truck and snatched the bike up like it was a bicycle.

I've since learned that you can place your rear against the seat and walk the bike back upright with your legs. I saw a guy demonstrate it on a Victory Vision and he was about my size (5'10" and 150 lbs). I hope I never have to give it a try.

Well Tim mine went down for the first time while I was in the house. Of course it did not help that the wife back into it with her car

If you dicide to fix her and paint her a different color I see a magenta to gold Kameleon flip flop would look sharp!
