So last night I did some math, wee.

The short of it: There’s finally a stock bike that’ll challenge a 265 R3 from stop to 188mph...

I still need to work out a couple others but it should, not counting drag, be the fastest stock bike available from 0-188. Faster than an H2, Faster than a ZX-14, faster than a Busa, faster than an S1000RR.

The magic sauce? Gearing!

By my math it’ll get walked by the 265 R3 to 110 and then reel it in hard from 110-180, that’s not even accounting for drag, which will only tip it more in the favor of the Duc.

So tempted to go to Tacoma tomorrow and put in an order...

Really you going racing? It looks a little intense for everyday riding.

lol Dr.D, yes man, every chance the budget allows I'm on a track of some sort, drags, autox, road course, anything, both cars and bikes :p

There's nothing in life I like more than getting on a track and absolutely hooning the living bejesus out of whatever i happen to be driving/riding :)

To that end, my Mini was on the track about two weeks after I bought it lol. Within 10 days I had a new turbo, meth kit, and HH sintered pads for it.

This is why I say to people "Pick your goals" before modding, because I guarantee everyone's are a bit or a lot different.

My goal for the Panigale V4 would be, go play on track days and lean on the best-in-the-world electronics to go stuuuuuupid fast.

hence we both live in a different world .. nothing wrong there just different views on speed and the adrenaline fix . but that being said go and get one surely it will make you smile a lot. that or an H2R

You cant really compare the 2 bikes, as they are 2 totally different machines built for 2 totally different markets.... n to be fair the first line says it all.... the race rep makes that power in road trim where we have to tune the rocket to try match the speed .. but ive done the ducati scene ...the big trail bikes ...race reps etc, and am now happy to pootle about on mi rocket with a big grin on mi face with all it has to offer in [nearly] standard trim form.. best bike ive had ...till mi next one!
