Is Moly-Lithium grease a suitable lubricant for the Final Drive splines? It is a NLGA Grade 2.

My 05' R3 Standard had a weird noise in the back sorta like a brake dragging. You could only really hear it at walking speeds. Turns out the rear disc was warped. Not to bad side to side, it had become out of round. So much so that even after I took all the bolts out I had to drive it off with a hammer and a block of wood. Bought a used one on EatmeBay and it dropped right on and no more noise. Might be worth looking at. Fred
