Well, it's a week later from the time I dropped the Rocket at the dealer... I called them today to check on the progress. They said all they know is that the problem is in the rear end. (I knew that too) They haven't had time to do anything else yet. I asked if I could get an idea of, "How Long" till they know more....and he said they are really backed up.
I love the bike.....but I'm not sure I can deal with the service if it's going to be weeks/months to get fixed. (Only 4700 miles and short riding season in Chicago) I'm going to be patient for now.... but I am already thinking about buying something else. It just may be the service that will hurt this product. With all of the cars I have owned in my many years of car ownership, I never waited more than 3 days for a full report on the problem. I know I'm not comparing apples and apples....but I guess my expectations for a product at this price point is high.
