2024 R3
This bike is exactly what i needed as far as power goes. Lots of get out of my way power. Cany wait to turn it up. Now what is the deal with the turn signal staying on for 71 feet i believe it says. Everybody thinks i am turning...again! Very annoying it is. I guess i will turn it off myself...geshhh...the nerve of Triumph. Just jokin...who cares.

That's a setting in the options menu. Auto or Manual. Well, for the Storm it has the two settings. Older bikes had Auto Basic, Auto Advanced and Manual. I use Auto Advanced as it lets you do a quick push for just three flashes, then a long push that flashes until you either turn it off or ride 65 metres. Auto Basic doesn't have the 3 flash function, just turns off after 65 metres.

I suppose I should have read the manual. It took me a few rides before I learned that I had to hold the indicator for a bit to get it to stay on. The 3-flash thing is only really useful for changing lanes I imagine, and I don't indicate to change lanes.

My only gripes since getting my R3GT a few weeks ago are the heat off the exhausts making it impossible to ride "hugged" to the bike and the width of the bars with the bar-end mirrors making it less easy to filter through traffic.

I swapped the mirrors from one side to the other to make it a bit narrower.

Upside-down you mean? I tried that, but in order to avoid hitting the tank, I had to rotate them so that the stalk was so far back that I couldn't tilt the mirror enough to actually see anything. I've rotated the mirrors themselves 180 (so the fat side is outer most) and it has helped a little.

No. I moved the left to the right and vice versa.

I had Cerakote applied to the header and swapped to Carbon Fiber heat shields. That cut the heat down considerably but doesn't eliminate it.
