Well, back at the Blue Ridge parkway. Kind of. In Front Royal at the beginning of skyline drive. tomorrow I'll go from here to Salem Va. (near Roanoke). Wednesday down to Asheville. Thursday I'll head to the southern end at Cherokee, and just turn around and go back to Asheville. Then nI'll have to take 81 towards home Friday morning. supposed to rain here Saturday night and all day sunday..... Pics to come. I'm a little lighter this trip. no spare gas. And the smaller tailbag.

So, heres some pictures of skyline drive in Va. And some from yesterday on the northern part of the BRP. There's a closure on a section that goes past Mt. Mitchell. I'm in Asheville now. Going to enjoy a nice above average temp. Day. Mid 80's here should make it nice on the parkway elevation. Then I have to bail out tomorrow. Big rain storm coming in this weekend.

Breathtaking vistas in those shots. Thank you for taking the time to post and share them with us. Over the past month or so it seems you have taken in more sights and experiences few people get to see and experience in a lifetime. Keep the wheels and the camera rolling . Happy motoring .

Quite the adventure you’ve taken us on . I can only imagine how it feels to pull into your own driveway . Happy to be home but sad the amazing cross country run has ended. Once again thank you for letting us ride ***** on your journey. Happy motoring .

Ha, you summed it up perfectly. I like the nights at home, but the days aren't nearly as much fun. Oh well, I'll have to be content with local riding again until next year.
