OK.. so a year ago I had a big one!!

As long as you wear flame retardant pants and boots you should be fine.

I hope you have healed well. You will need to be healthy to ride that beast. Very nice. And pretty ballsy giving your friends a free hand at it. Good luck.

My Buddy will be impressed with the functional art comment... Exactly how he saw it.. A raw frame and engine, no covers, minimal exhaust... Raw power
I think it sounds more like an NHRA top fuel drag car in real life, the video does not do it justice..
The exhausts are well wrapped and away from legs as it happens.. So no fireproof pants needed!

The noise isn't going to be an issue... I used to tour on it before the accident when it looked like this...
Now it's gonna be used for shorter rides out, and the one thing I hated about the bike in its "normal" guise was the sound of it.. Not a 4 cylinder cylinder screamer, and not a harley thud.... Just an abrasive noise somewhere in between.. Even with the custom silencer I had on it originally I still felt it was not loud enough..

It does sound a lot like a John Deer when you troll in traffic. Have you ever heard those John Deer tractors at a pulling contest.www.youtube.com/watch?v=VAXzbr9yfIg

Little and large.. Saw this at the workshop today and had to take pic..

i like it You have given me some more ideas for my R3. I am still working on the non start issue (bought it for a bargain price) but when I do get it running I would like it to be individual

I have the non start issue with mine, intermittent.. Dash lights up, all safety switches ok, press start and nothing..
After looking at the circuit diagram I know for sure my issue is the start rely.. And a simple Check is... Do the headlights switch off when button pressed... No? Then it's the relay..
