I love that JD equally well! Prefer the Gentleman to the single barrel, as it's smoother (less proof).
Ever had Booker? It's my absolute fav, but at a $100/ jug it becomes an occasional treat.

Yup brother in law drinks it. But I dont drink much whiskey anymore. I dont need any help with being stupid I can manage that on my own without the help of Jack.

American whiskey is so plain Jane flavour wise compared to "proper" whiskey

Bourbon is TOO sweet.
Fine to mix with cola; but I prefer the smokey peat.

I usually don't go for the blended stuff; but the Japanese make a fine "scotch" too.

Yeah not sure if it's the Hibiki but an oriental whiskey just won the world title as best whisky.

I think Japan and China are our biggest export for whisky.
