Hi, I just wanted to ask when is the best time for oil change at the end season or leave it until the spring? im asking you guys because I heard diff opinions on that from my local bikers.

Well, if you really want to be conscientious, change it a end and then again at beginning. Suppose you change at the end of the season. The bike sits there, but the air in the engine gets exchanged by changing temperatures. Also condensation forms, some of which cannot evaporate before it seeps into the oil. Now there's your reason to change oil at beginning of the season to get rid of all that winter has done. So, if you are going to do at the beginning, so long as the level is correct at end of season, let it sit. Add fuel treatment though, particularly one meant for ethanol fuel for it can get yucky if it sits too long.

Just changed mine @ 5K miles. Refilled with Amsoil and a K&N filter. Here in Texas we are able ride mostly year round (maybe not as much as we would like).
In my Cars that are stored for the off season, I change the oil and put whatever is oil sale in them for storage and just to move around. Then before use again in the Spring warm them up completely(drive 30 miles minimum). Drain them overnight and refill with DaGoodStuff!

Put a Ethanol Killer (your choice of product) in every thing that has a gas tank after every fillup.

some thing new to argue about:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:
can not give an opinion because i have never let mine sit that long.:roll:

We ride all year round down here:thumbsup: ,but I have a couple of cars that are driven infrequently so its a battery minder and a fortnightly start up and move back and forth to keep the brakes free and the wheel bearings rotating also I keep the fuel tanks full to prevent condensation building up

Well the best way is change end of use (riding season) store then change again when riding season begins. However, I have had great success with just doing normal mileage oil changes. Then the key is to get the bike out on a sunny day at least once a month during the off season and take it for an hour or 50 mile ride.

NEVER leave old oil in an engine. The acids in it as oil decomposes will damage the Alloy. Then new season flush with "Flushing Oil" and then refill.
That or ride all year.
