O5 Rocket finally going. Thanks all who replied.

The 3.5 bar regulator finally turned up. I bit the bullet and went and bought a reasonable fuel pressure gauge kit and and tested the pressure prior to fitting the new reg. Sure enough it had dropped to 1 bar. After that all I did was fit the new reg and the 12 minute reset. Gauge read 3.4 bar. I went for a 60 km ride and it ran neat as a pin, the backfire on decel that the previous owner states has been present since new with the staintunes and k&n which makes sense. I then gave the bike to my mate who was going on a weekend ride with a local club to ride the wheels off it and come back with a report. Ran nice he said. So items to go are a new front tyre "happy for recommendations" rear shockers and front fork seals "also happy for recommendations on front forks spring upgrade." Tune ecu cable should be here tomorrow so I'll get to have a look and load one up it.
P.s don't buy the Rocket 3 shirts that I think we're advertised on here if you like the quality of late model shirts these are not for you they are the quality of the screen print I was doing at school about 45 years ago.
