Well I replaced my TPS, I folowed the steps while running Tune ECU and all seemed well until tonight. . We have had rain and so I wasn't able to take the bike out until tonight. She seemed to be running great and the idle was a perfect 850. After about 2 minutes of riding, my engine light came on so home I came.

I plugged in to Tune ECU and I see two codes...

P0460 - Fuel level sensor malfunction

&

P0505 - Idle speed control system malfunction.

Like I said, the bike runs great but I sure don't want to ride with the check engine light on

I should mention that nothing else changed but the TPS and the only issue I had prior to this was the high idle

HELP please

First thing I would try would be to unhook the ground from the battery and re-connect.

Took the ground off and left it for a few minutes. Put it back on but still have the same issue.

I've had the check engine light come on after working on my bike. I just rode it anyway and eventually the light went off.

I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong but I recall reading that the light will come on but goes off after a short period of riding once the bike registers the changes. Or something.

Ride the bike the light will go off, has happened to me at least three times playing around with various things and wham the check engine light came on, i checked the engine and it was still in place roughly about 15-20 miles and the light will go off.

Found a YouTube tutorial on the TuneECU. Did the ten second on/off/on thing and then reset the TPS and ISCV. Then reset the codes and ran the 12 minute tune. Took it for a spin (about 15 miles) and all seems to be OK now. Fingers crossed.

The reset of the codes is under the ECO menu. I guess I would have had to have actually looked to have found it

Thanks for the help. I hope that's it for a while.
