Not such a good x-mas present

The wife just bought a new cook book called "Cancer Fighting Kitchen" I paged through it briefly and I'll have to say the "Melanoma Meatballs" and "Lymphoma Lasagna" look mighty temtin' . Can wait to try um

Melanoma is usually a pea sized mole on your skin with a golf ball sized cancer under it ( or at least it was in my case, they told me i was lucky i picked up on it early), it is one of the more aggressive forms of Skin cancer. If like me you get a mole and it starts to get constantly itchy get the bastard removed and checked out
 

I've had basil cell AND squamous cell carcinomas on my skin. Unless I get center punched by some cager yakkin' on their cell phone there's not much doubt in my mind whats going to take me out. If not the disease itself, the long term effects of radiation and chemo. I'm not the least bit bitter or self pitying. There are a lot of people out there who are WAY worse off than I'm. As long as I can stay one step ahead of this as I have for the last 15 years, I could still live to be a really old f_ck

Great attitude Fred. As my joints crumble I know that there are young people in wheel chairs that will never have the opportunity to walk or ride a motorcycle. The Bible reminds me of my short comings as a human and centers me regularly. From lepers to those infirmed to the countless faces in homes, I am extremely fortunate and blessed as we all are to have each other on this forum. God's speed friend. We got your back.
