Was on my way home from a ride yesterday and could smell oil burning. This is what I found. Closest Triumph dealer is about 130 miles away and doesn't have a service opening until June 28th. So ironically enough I'll be riding the non oil leaking Harley in the meantime. Bike is a 2014 Roadster with about 9k miles on it.
No way is that a head gasket. It's the rocker cover gasket and can be a common thing although I have never had one fail I think @Wrecka has had it happen twice.
Mine was never very "pretty" to begin with. By that I mean it was kind of bunched up in spots and spread a little thinner in others if that makes sense. I was looking at a brand new Rocket in the showroom and that rubber edge was perfectly uniformed all the way around the motor. Mine looked like it was put on after lunch on a Friday compared to that one.
Rocker cover gasket remove clean and order a new gasket or use the old one with some flex casket to seal it, good luck.
As you are in Alaska I wonder if the -50 temp had any thing to do with it?
