Norton Trying again

Looks a lot like the CCM Scrambler - Great to see British motorcycles companies making a return.
Although as Barbagris has mentioned the important question is whom will buy them?

The CCM never had EC homologation - so it's future was limited.

Discovered yesterday that the same group who have taken over Harley and Royal Enfield sales in Madrid have acquired the rights to Norton. They put a lot of effort into their showrooms.

I wonder how much of these new machines are made in China?

I think I would prefer Norton to build innovative motorcycles rather than follow current Retro trends. Not saying that I don't like the look of the Atlas as I do - but they are now a niche builder. I am not sure if this helps develop the brand.

I do worry about the future of motorcycling - whom is targeting the youngsters - where do we see the market going?

As opposed to Thailand or India or Japan or the chav'vy bits of the West Midlands.

If they are to revive and survive they have to build that which sells. So if they have to use plug and play parts to get the price down - go for it. I still don't want one though.
