Northeast r3 ride

Is anyone interested in getting together for a ride in the Northeast? Or for that matter, does anyone know of an organized R3 ride in the northeast? I am from just north of Albany, NY and would be interested in some sort of a ride.

Why don't you start the arrangements for a Northeastern Rocket launch.
Make the arrangements and ask for date suggestions and I'll bet you get quite a few takers.
Maybe a mountain ride and a two or three day event.

Having never been to upstate NY or NH/VT/ME, I'd love to make a trip up there. Perhaps a long weekend in late August?

Any issues with crossing over into Canada and back other than the new passport requirement? I'm thinking riding up toward Montreal and heading NE to Quebec and back down through St. Georges into the US.

You should have made the Bennington Bash last week in May-we went right thru Balston Spa on the way there. Approx. 120 Triumph riders in attendence. First weekend in June next year.

I should add there is a Nor-East rally mid September in the Finger lakes region. last year there were at least 50, maybe more. Canada was there as well as Michigan riders. I'll post details as they are made available but block out some time if you can. Sept. 18-20

No kidding.. I wish I knew about that. I live right in Ballston Spa... I know that Americade and Laconia are usually the first couple weeks in June, so that may come into play, but I would really like to do something different, so that is why I suggested it. The Adirondak region as well as VT, and NH are great places to ride. I really have never coordinated a big event, so if we have some takers, I would be interested in trying to come up with something.

Oh.. and as far as Canada goes... I grew up in Buffalo, and use to cross with no problems, but now I hear they pretty much want you to have a passport as of this year. I have mine and use it a lot, so I don't worry about that sorta thing. From what I can tell, if you want to go to Canada now, get your passport.

I am in Connecticut, there are 3 dealerships in this state yet very few Rockets running around. I would love to meet some others out there. Did not know about the Bennington Bash, won't miss it again. Let me know if a NorthEast meet up is in the works.
