No starter

Took r3 too painton bike night in s devon went to leave with mates No starter just clicks under seat ,eventually after bit of fidling with wiring r3 fired up got home . again no starter can you tell me where to look first please

Check the battery teminals and the starter terminal for proper connections first. I would take the terminals off and claen everthing. then go on from there.

Clicking is saying the relay is picking up, but the juice is not getting to the starter. Your starter terminal needs cleaned.

When this happens check the headlights. If they are not on, its the ignition switch. My starter relay would click but no juice to the starter. Headlight curcuit must be made up to start and it runs through the ignition switch. Been there and done that.
