Let's see:
If you lower the forks 10mm (.3937") with consideration to the 32° rake, you actually lower the front end .34 inch.
There is also NO correction to the speedo.

With the OEM tires, the rear axle is .5 inch lower than the front; therefor, the resultant is the rear axle remains .16 inch lower than the front.
With a rear Excedra Max 240/55, the rear axle lifts up .5 inch, resulting in the axles being level.
With a rear Excedra Max and a front 140/75, the front axle lowers .59 inch, resulting in the rear axle being .57 inch higher than the front.

I used the term relatively, TC. I now run an Excedra Max 130 (incompatable with ABS) that is considerably more nimble and maneuverable than the Michelin 140 I had previously.

Where I ride, most of the roads are neither straight nor level. Lotsa twisties, sweepers, hills dales and mountain-like, inclined and curvy sections, so the drastically improved, lower resistance response, much easier turn-in and more surefooted tracking is way preferable to the lumbering, oversized 150 that the bike came with as stock.
 

I think we have spoken of this before . . . but it's worth repeating this tire stuff IMO.
I ran the 130 on front as well. On a Roadster, I believe it to be too small and low.
I dragged my peg rails in the front and it's the tire that I crash on AUG of 2013 breaking triple, multiple leg and ankle bones.
Not saying it was primarily the 130 tire's fault, however the reduced clearance and rumble strips in the middle of the road definitely were!
The rails on a Standard or Classic are much higher off the road that those of a Roadster and yield more ground clearance for the rails.

Basically I can't miss what I don't have. I've got other irons in the fire as well. Saving a 100+ dollars here means I can drop it elsewhere. This way I can have my cake and eat some of it too.
 
can you label witch are H (max of 210 km/h) speed rating i would only fit V and above speed rating

Phil,
As you can see in my tire list, there are many "H" speed rated radial tires for motorcycle.
 
Yes, you are right, SteveO. Another senior moment for me. Some of the H rated tires are available in bias ply as well, but, correct me if I'm wrong, I believe that all of the V rated tires are radials?

That there is a good question and one I am not prepared to answer as I have not run a bias ply tire for many, many years.
BTW - Don't feel like the Lone Ranger! I have more than my share of those "moments".

Hey there.. you mentioned lowering the forks 10 mm and handling is great. Does that mean the back stays same and front is tilted 10mm? Are the tires same size? I'm wondering because I see my oem set-up is like that now being 5% lower in the front. So why is it that many motos have a larger front wheel & tire than rear and handle well? I'm confused.
