Hello, another new member from UK Midlands (near Derby for anyone who knows). My first foray into the world of cruisers having had much more sporty bikes until now. So far so good though, I love the Rocket. :)

A bit nervous about joining club with all you Americans and, from experience with other forums, I won't be talking about politics, religion or guns.

Bike is stock for now but am considering some after market cans as it's a bit quiet.

PS, you're not really going to elect Donald Trump, are you? ;)

Welcome from Nevada Kev. I've been here a short while and everyone I have met here has been very welcoming and helpful. I think the world would be a nicer place if everyone had a gun in there pocket. I don't like having what I've earned go to someone who does nothing but sit on their ass and it doesn't look like I have much of a choice than to vote for Trump. Hillary and Bernie want to take what I've earned and leave me defenseless. Well not me per se but anybody who wishes to carry a firearm should retain the right to do so. If you outlaw guns only outlaws will have them. It's just how it works. One of the Ausie brothers can chime in but I believe gun violence went up 300% after guns were outlawed.

AHEM! Love and kisses. NORM

Welcome aboard Kev from a fellow UK member. It's a brillaint multi national site and as such there's always someone around to help not like some sites where there's no action between 10pm and 10 am.

Like you I'd always had sports bikes before my Rocket. You'll find the Rocket amazing. It's so comfortable, does everything with ease, can pull your arms out of their sockets and doesn't seem to be unsettled by wet roads unlike sports bikes where you have to be very careful. Doesn't seem to be upset by poor road surfaces and bumps either, just takes everything in its stride.

I changed my cans for the TORS as I wanted to keep the original look. I did change the shocks and it really did make an improvement. There are several to choose from but being in the UK chose Hagon. They were very helpful and build a pair to your weight and riding style.

You'll also find the smiles are permanent and keep getting bigger.

Welcome from Florida ,Kev over all these are a great bunch with a vast knowledge of things Rocket related. If you have a question you will get an answer here unlike at the stealers.
