I have tried - but under the OEM lens the best solution is a LED replacement "bulb" with lots of smaller LEDs.
I did find some "all-in-one"strips on Amazon. But not convinced.

Fit an JW-speaker adaptive - better solution anyway.

Oddly M/C DRL's are not actually legal for use in many EU states. The laws specifically state HEADLIGHT

Most police forces cannot be bothered but I do know a couple of beemer owners who have had "riding without headlight" piled on the other (more serious) infractions. The local coppers here where I work have told me that insurance companies WOULD most certainly try to get out of paying.

The OEM tail sux big and is dangerous.
Don't give up as I know many will be wanted.

Interestingly it is SAE and DOT marked though.

Oh I shan't be doing much more.
I have extra position lights in the top case - and my dual-led (red/orange) brake/indicators.
If something pops up - fine - but imo the best solution is to segregate tail and brake functions.

This depends then on where to mount. And I have played about. I run with side cases always. And that changes WHERE.
