NEW PC V on Ebay

I tried to buy one off fleabay awhile back and it came up as out of stock when I bid.
 
I sent another email to Dynojet asking if they have a release date. It still shows as under development on their site.
 
Not sure if same seller but I followed up on one a little while ago and seller was certain - said he'd checked - that he'd be getting items in to ship the next day. Online pruchase wouldn't work and he wanted my PayPal details so he could invoice me!!!

In the end I've gone another route but this seemed too shonky for my liking. I'd be cautious buying one of these.

If I were you think about reporting this communication with this seller to Ebay or Paypal.
NOBODY ever should ask for your details of any bank, ebay or Paypal account.
If you give them he can easily buy a new Rocket and you will pay for it because he has your details now. When you try to find the Guy he will probably be in Nigeria.
 
Thats really wild, So you guys are thinking this is a scam? I don't need one but I read on here where several of you are waiting for them and I thought this was it. Sorry bout that fellows.

For sure don't ever give out your debit card number .... they can take your cash and you'll never get it back. They dont work like credit cards for fraud, if someone empty's your checking/savings account ... it's just gone.

Even it that guy just wanted to cut fleabay out of the loop, that sounds fishy and I'd report em. Those deals are fine for friend only deals ... but shady at best for strangers.
 
I gave him nothing. All he asked for was my PayPal e-mail address - and clearly he had my e-mail address. I couldn't see why he needed it, and his claim that the PCV would, coincidentally, be available the next day couldn't be believed. The web site looks legit (maybe one of you guys over there could ring the number) and it maybe the guy is just a dill, but I wasn't going to risk it.

Perhaps it could be worth someone known on the .com site (I'm just a lerker there) posting something.

And by the way, I didn't find it via eBay - I googled it so went straight to the web site.

Ooooo that sounds so ... so fishy. It has a tone of desperation in it that makes me uneasy.

You are absolutely right, just not worth the risk. What makes this guy special enough to have a long awaited Item before anyone else?
