Hi :
The name is Russ and I live on the outskirts of Oklahoma city. Been riding and working on my bikes since 1961. Could not afford a wrencher so I learned how to myself. Now it is part of the sport. Right now I am running around on a Moto Guzzi , but am planning to change bikes & brands.
I am not shy about asking Questions ,and have a bucket full of them.
Take care

Welcome to the site Russ. If someone can't come up with an answer to your question, we'll at least make something up that sounds good.:D

Welcome.. :)

Here, I'll answer the questions I most often receive at gas stops etc... :)

"Is that a Boss Hoss?"
No, It's a Triumph Rocket III

"Who makes Triumph, Suzuki?"
No, Triumph is not made by Suzuki, Yamaha, Honda, etc. Triumph is it's own
company.

"Triumph still makes motorcycles?"
Yes, Triumph makes motorcycles. They've been back in the U.S since 1995. (It's now 2008. What planet have you been on?... lol)

"Is that a 6 cylinder?"
It's not a 6 cylinder, it's a 3 cylinder.

"How big is that tank?"
6 gallons

"Is it fast?"
Yes, it's fast.

"That doesn't look like my Triumph I had in the '60s"
No it's not the same as the Bonneville you claim to have owned 40 years ago.
(I usually let them know that Triumph does make a Bonneville that is similar though)

Those aren't the questions I get. I usually get:

- Nice bike!
** Thanks!

- Is that a cape you're wearing?
** Why, yes it is, a Paul Stanley signature cape.

- Can I *then I interrupt!*
** No, YOU CAN'T HAVE THE CAPE!

Where you a huge KISS fan by chance?
