Hello Kieth and another welcome from Virginia. My first Yamaha was a 750 Virago, yes i know it has a very flexible frame and a 750 is less power than your 1100, but that bike helped me fall in love with the Yamaha. 3 of my 28 bikes over the years have been with them.

Wow that's a lot of bikes! Now wife is ok with my 3 lol! I enjoyed the Virago. Great bike!

G/day keith, you said you are 5f 9",so the seat is 3" thick, take out foam and replace it with 1" high density foam and then maybe look at shorter shocks ooooorrrrrrr maybe 4" stilletoesWelcome from OZ ////RABBIT
