20 grand is a lot for that bike.

It's also 842 lbs.

Harley Street Glide starts at 20K and the Victory Cross Country Tour starts at 19K. Its about 60-70 lbs more than those two, but a water cooled six vs an air cooled twin has to pay a price in weight.

Sigh ....... Very much aware of what a GW is capable of. Still a geriatric machine . Enjoy people I'm returning to the rocket section of this rocket forum lol.

Not bad at all. Has everything that I wish Triumph would do to the Rocket. Fixed fairing, cruise control, audio. Functional for commuting and can take off on a long tour.

Assuming that it handles as well as a fully rigged GW, I'd hate to have to try to keep up with a good rider in the twisties.

I don't think it's ugly; just stupid looking. And unbalanced. More a coffin on wheels- appearance I mean. Who ever scripted that clip can't possibly have ever seen the bike. A chick magnet????? Come off it. If you rode up on one of these people would be sniggering not admiring. I'd not just need to be older but blind as well to have one of these.
Actually no. I'd never have one.

In case you can't tell, I hate it.

I'm back to talking Triumphs. See you there Mitch. :D

At least no one had the great idea of putting a goldwing fairing on a rocket

At 2:22 into the video....

"Ride off into the sunset. And then, do it all again next weekend".

Can you guess who the marketing is aimed at? Just like all those weekend warriors clogging up the good roads on Harleys on the weekends.

Now, about that Goldwing fairing mod, does anyone have an extra GW fairing lying around? :D :p

OK guys I must clear my conscience and save my relationship with my "large lady" ----- while I lusted after the new GW I know it was just a momentary lapse in judgement and I still love my one only with all my being. I know I crossed the line and if anything ever happened to her I would search to the ends of the earth if necessary to replace her with another R3T. :) I took her out this afternoon and rekindled our passion - a little stroke of the throttle and a gentle, wet massaging when we got back home seemed to do the trick. :D Whew, that was close!!!
