I admit I'm not sure what the difference is on hardtail vs softail, just parroting the article. I had assumed a hardtail was just a bike without suspension on the rear wheel and instead had a few springs on the seat to absorb bumps.

If Triumph puts that horrible thing out I'll eat my desk. I wouldn't be taking it too seriously.

No I don't like bobbers either ,but the idea of an 1100cc 100 HP Bonneville would be a marketable unit INMHO.

Rocket owners should be disqualified from ever commenting on a bike's looks. Its like a BMW GS owner saying your bike is ugly. Or a Glock owner saying your Sig is ugly.

Unfortunately I've owned all three, so obviously I have no sense of aesthetics. But kudos to Triumph for daring to make something different. There's a butt for every seat.
