Welcome J from VA. I use a Beadrider seat cover and ride ten hours straight with no issue in this heat. It is the least expensive option as well.

Looks like a good choice and you will be happy with it. As for the seat, I have been happy with the Triumph long haul seat with the back rest. I actually liked the stock seat but I prefer the backrest. Try the Airhawk R which takes the pressure off your butt

Welcome from Northern kentucky. Let us know what seat you went with please. I just picked 2014 myself had 20 on it when I bought it Saturday. Only had about 160 on it now but plan for 200 more this weekend. Great color.
