Loving my 07 Rocket I finally got after alot of saving,I know mines not really broke in with 500 or so miles ,but IM really impressed with the roll on power in 4th anf 5th,I havent ran it to hard in the lower gears because of the break in period, man these engines are noisy, about 3grand ,do they all chatter like that lol,im hoping to get alot more bottom end power out of the rocket,oh yeah Ive named my bike TUBBY!!!!!hes a little thick, love the bike !!!!!!

You can get more bottom end power when you start adding bits to it.

$5-6k US will get you a turbo, or a supercharger, and you'll have all of the power you want.:D

TUNE BOY ! If you need more than that ???

Naw,
Don't waste your money on Tuneboy,
go with the freeware Wayne Tripp has provided us with....
Pull your secondaries out.
Its free too, and you'll notice the response.....

Don't leave out that cool little gadget the GiPro, I know the freeware can do the same for the low gears but everyone still could use a gear position indicator.

pssssst ..... [whisper] R3's don't have 6th gear so stop looking for it. LOL :D

I think that will be first mod I do will be the gi pro, what you think hellfire,I know everyone uses tuneboy and this new program on here, but man it kinda scares me im not very good with computers,I wish there was someone who lived close that could help me mod this BI#%H lol I dying to get this quiet exhaust off grrrrrrr!!!!

Yeah, I just wasn't quite ready to start fiddling with it's brains yet. The thought of me causing an error in a line of computer code on a new bike made me nervous. Felt alot more comfortable just wiring in something that can just as easily be removed if there was a problem, plus I rely on the gear indicator quite a bit. I'm always wishing the R3 had a sixth gear, I found myself trying to make it a reality by hunting for it. LOL
I tell you I thought the holy grail was found when I installed it and removed the secondaries, WOW  it's so much fun to launch it from a low gear now, felt like a different bike.

Have you decided on an exhaust yet? I've had the stockers with the typical holes drilled in the end plates, D&D's (with and without baffles) and settled on a nice used set of TOR's with the cat delete. I wanted a set of Jardines but they were too expensive at the time. I like the TOR's for the original look and the moderately loud sound, they give just as good performance as the D&D's did. I'm interested in learning more about the "Freeware" tuning just out of curiosity, I'm more than happy with the PCIII (get a pro dyno tune in the end), triple K&N's, GiPro, no secondaries and the TOR's. She puts up just as high numbers as any Tuneboy setup I've seen posted, plus I have the peace of mind knowing I can take it all off if I need to. If I knew more and felt comfortable with doing a "Lobotmy" on her, the process might be easier and require less stuff .... but the cost vs. a Tuneboy is still about the same in the end, just comes down to what you are more comfortable diving into.
