Muffler fell off

Trust issues, it’s why so many of us will not go to a dealer, these bikes are good, everything has to be done correctly or they will expose the person that did the work. Very small tolerances and must be right, everything
 

I always remove muffler prior to a reat tire change - now at 11 rear tires and counting . . .
 
I put a different system on and it was no longer a problem. I put different tyres on and it was no longer a problem less often.
 
I don’t take the muffler off, I torque the axle from the side. Haven’t had an issue in 15yrs.
 
From the bevel box side.

Because of occassional can dragging, I had the stainless tube between the collector & can modified to tuck the can up and inboard to the rear axle nut.
Solved the clearance issue, but now the can needs to be removed to access the axle nut.
