Well, after 6 yrs of ownership I made the big decision to go to a lighter bike that was a bit more hi-tech. On the rare occasion when I've owned 2 bikes, I've only ever ridden one of them (unless one needed a service), so I traded in the Rocket on a Yamaha MT10 - the one with the yellow fluro wheels. While I wouldn't park it outside any country pubs cause it would prob lead to an unwanted discussion at the end of the night, apart from that (I liked the gray paint), it is a fantastic bike. Never ridden a bike with traction control, quickshifter, power modes etc before, so its a bit of a change. Gotta admit it was an uneasy feeling leaving the R3 behind, there are no major towns in NSW it hasn't been to, a lot of fun and nothing went wrong. I'll still keep an eye on the forum - regards gra

Congrats on the new purchase...I've riden the 7 and that was a **** load of fun...reckon the 10 would be a pretty aggressive animal!

Good for you having a body that can bend around the ergonomics of this naked sport bike!
Wish I could go back to my forties . . .

Congrats on your new bike and condolences on the parting ways with the Rocket. I had the FZ1 for a few years and loved it. I had to look up what an MT10 is since they don't have them here. It looks cool. I preferred my FZ1 over the R1 due to its usable power on the street. I wonder how this puppy will be in that regard after reading the write up on it. Good luck!
