I'm a moderator on a Fender Musical Instruments forum. I knew there were at least a few of us that also ride motorcycles so I decided to collect some data. Here are the results.

35 bikes owned by 27 members broken out as follows:

HD - 15
Honda - 8
Triumph - 4
Kawasaki - 2
BMW - 2
Yamaha - 2
KTM - 1
Suzuki - 1

Cruiser - 17
Sport Touring - 6
Sport - 4
Touring - 3
Standard - 3
Off-road - 2

Avg. Rider Age - 51
Avg. Engine Size - 1085cc

Yougest rider - 43
Oldest rider - 64

Smallest bike - 200cc
Largest bike - 1690cc

I wasn't surprised at the large number of Harleys. I was a bit surprised that Triumph out numbered most of the Japanese bikes. Of course, I skewed the data a bit by having two Triumphs.

Sometimes you gotta do (skew the results....a little) what 'cha gotta do.

I take it this was on a Fender Forum ( I have a mex version of the Stratocaster myself) and I am surprised that there weren't any younger than 43....must be where a lotta old geezers hang out:D.

It is, for the most part, a bunch of MAWGs. There are some younger folks over there, but apparently they don't ride.

Btw, the youngest rider age has changed since my first post. It's now 41.

Interesting results there Daryl, I have a Japanese 52 reissue tele and my brother has a 1979 blonde strat.

Bikes and guitars are a match made in heaven lol.

I have a Fender Deluxe Stratocaster and a Gibson SG. I have a Fender Pro Junior combo amp and a Germino Club 40 (Marshall JTM-50 clone) head and matching 4x12 with Greenbacks. Here's, assuming the **** pic will link correctly, a pic of the Germino.

Here we go, once again! Why the F*&& won't my pics ever link correctly?!

- Click mountain looking icon: check
- Paste link to pic: check

Isn't that all there is to it?

lol, I have no idea mate. Some nice guitars there it would be nice to see them. I collect them so here are some more of mine.

I had a John Lennon Epiphone electric acoustic with a Vox DA-5 amp...just sold it.

Here is a picture of my Stratocaster:

And here is one of my Brian May Red Special Signature model:

In addition to the Zoom amp, I have another Vox DA-5 amp and the biggie...a Vox AC30BM amplifier plus a Vox double pedal effects board (no pics yet....), along with a Yamaha dreadnought acoustic and classical acoustic (can't remember the model), a Digitech Brian May effects pedal and bunch of guitar cases (as my wife can attest).
