I need another motorcycle like I need another hole in my head, but I'm thinking seriously about either a Thruxton or Bonneville (probably an SE). They're pretty much spec'd the same, just different ergos. Decisions, decisions...

I'm leaning toward a Scrambler.

Make sure you ride one first, and I'd ride a Bonny the same day if possible. I'm pretty sure the Scrambler has a 270 firing interval. The Bonny has a 360. I remember my Speedmaster had a 270 firing interval and it had a bit of buzziness in the bars at much over around 70 mph. The Bonny SE has zero buzz.

That said, my Thunderbird has a 270 firing interval it has zero buzz in the bars too and I've had it up over 90 a couple of times so what the hell do I know.

Yeah Daryl that sounds like your garage may be getting cramped. Mine would be too if I had one come March. But I do have two separate aluminum buildings I can put them in, plus I now have my 12' X 30' new aluminum building if I get more than two.

The Scrambler does have a 270 degree crank, but I have never noticed any vibration or buzz on my 2008. Just remember the "pipe" is always up on a Scrambler.......
