Hi Talkriver, can you explain to me what parts you put to fill the space between your grips and the end of the handlebars since you installed your new mirrors? Custom piece?
Your supports look working well. The cost is reasonable.

I handled ends of the handlebar as followed.

Prepared items.

Two short pipes: 38mm outer diameter, 2mm thickness, 17mm long, SUS304 Glossy finish. Got from a web shop.
Adhesive rubber sheets: 1mm thickness, proper length. (300mm long ones in my case)

Sized the rubber sheet 15mm wide with a knife.

Put stock bar end caps on the handlebar. Rolled the rubber sheets on the handlebar up to diameter around 34mm. Cut unnecessary sheets.

Once took out the end caps, put short pipes.

Hello everyone,

If there's only one thing I hate on this bike it's those f... mirrors at the end of the handlebars ! Has a member of the forum managed to change them for "normal" mirrors which do not require you to take your eyes off the road and which do not hinder your hands when driving?
I've installed the frameless stick on convex mirrors on my mirrors and they completely solve the blind spot issue.

I'm puzzled!
How can you look into any rear view mirror on any vehicle without taking your eyes of the road

sorry for the Google translation...it's a French expression! The idea is above all having to turn your head which is painful to look in these mirrors whereas with "classic" mirrors you only change the direction of your gaze. That said, beyond the way you look at the people following you, the look of these mirrors is simply, for me, crap...

Mirrors are Highway Hawk H91-1051B.
Clamps are Kuryakyn 2792 1-1/4" Bars.
I am about to do the same, I don't live in the city anymore so the mirrors haven't been too much of a nuisance but when things get tight they definitely are.
I found the clamps on Amazon and will be looking for quality mirrors that are readily available in the US.

So I used the same clamps but the highway hawk mirrors were expensive and seem to only be available in the UK so tried a bunch through Amazon and ended up with these which work very well with no vibration.

However one problem I encountered is that the mirror stems don’t extend far enough out and severely limited my view, though to be fair I do have wide shoulders. To correct the issue, I also ordered some random parts from Amazon and rigged it up as you see in the pic to help extend my mirrors out more.

It looks suspect but honestly it’s very firm and stable and I’ve had zero movement or loosening of parts in the 6 months I’ve been riding since I made the switch.

Where did you find the short pipes for the bar ends?

I wound up getting the Highway Hawks and with shipping from Germany they came to $170 which is a lot but considering the alternatives they are well made, clear the reservoirs and I already spent 2k on a Vandemon slip on so what's another few buck at this point and I am after all buying all this stuff for my bike and not for me. I must say you went from stock fashion statement to an absolute fashion disaster with your mirror brackets though they look mighty fine for home brew.
