Mid Control installation

Triumph Austin just notified me that my Mid-Controls are in!! WooHoo. I plan on installing these myself. 1 obvious challenge will be the rear brake bleed, but any other suggestions for those that have installed the Mid Controls on the GT?

(this also means I have forward controls available if anyone is interested)

I was also considering going this route. I have the quick shifter installed though and I'm wondering if that means I'd need to order a new quick shifter pedal along with the mid controls.

Hi wsaharem, I am planning to install the rear controls on my GT. I also want to install the Quick shifter while I'm at it. Did the parts come with installation instructions? From my research it looks like I need the kit, plus the quick shifter, plus a new shifter lever for the quick shifter. Any guidance you can share based on your experience? Also, do you know if anything needs to be done to have the bike recognize that the quick shifter is installed? For example, do I need to program the ECU? Thanks!

When I ordered the forward control kit it came with both gear levers so I only required the TQS

no, you just need the kit number and the instructions can be downloaded from the Triumph instructions website
