Low speed handling?

I'm probably going to go DS soon with a Raptor 245-50-16 for the rear. What size Dunlop 404 are you guys running?
That's an awfully wide tire for trying out the darkside, you sure you want to jump right into one that big?

u come back to tn i will give u more rain to ride in

Okey dokey dilly-O

Just watch backing it up against curbs, That's where WIDE will bite you hard (and it's always in front of a crowd too) LOL

EXCEPT WHEN HE TURNS IT OVER IN THE YARD.....LMAO...

How is the low speed handling of a car tire? Everything I have read seems to indicate that the high speed is fine, but what about around town? I do 90% of my riding around town; so normal city driving and parking lot speeds.

Compared to a motorcycle tire it is harder to turn the bike. Another words if you do a figure 8 in a parking lot with a motorcycle tire then do it with a car tire you will definitely notice there is a difference.

Thanks Hellfire, but I'm with Hanso on this one. If I'm going to go DS, I'm going to go all the way.

You have an opportunity most of us didn't have. Come over and ride mine with a 225 and then make a decision.

BTW I'm running a Dunlop Elite 3 Touring up front. I like it better that the Avon or the Metzler.

Wobble during deceleration

I have a new Rocket III Touring and I have a problem with wobble during deceleration. There is only 4,000 miles on it now. I discovered it by experimenting and letting pressure off the handlebars. What is the best solution to this problem?
