My bike has been a pain for tickover issues for about 2 years. Sometimes high, sometimes low, sometimes dies, sometime surges. I have tried everything that I could think of, new stepper, new TPS x3, check all wiring and connectors, fuel, maps, the list goes on.

Anyways to cut a long story short. I have it running smooth as silk now and it was such a simple issue. The secondary TPS was out of wack, .071v instead of .06v. I did not know you could set the secondary TPS up in tuneEcu, but you can and its simple. Set it from the diagnostic page, its the second reading under the throttle sensor. Hope this helps. it did for me.. Well i bet i've jinx it now and I'll be back to bad running.

In Tune boy if you perform the ISCV reset (idle stepper control voltage reset) it has you check the secondary TPS also, and reset if needed. I am not sure but doing TPS checks with tune ecu utilizes the instructions in the shop manual. It does not look to me like you have th ability to monito te voltage of the secondar tps. You might end up using a volt meter. One of the reasons why tune boy is so good is it presents the step by step directions right on the screen. I would also clean and lubricate you throtte srings and stepper motor linkage in case its getting stuck. Same with the linkages ad springs betwee the throttle bodies. These may not look dirty but ar exosed to te wheather and should be maintenancd once a year at least and if you ride more yea rond hen I ould reccommned twice a year.
