I have the EB H4 kit installed so I am using only one of the two connections under the tank for the headlights.
I recently bought some new LED running lights and had the bright (pun intended) idea of using the other connection for powering the LEDs on the low beam circuit. I hooked them up to the blue/red wire, the low beam circuit, and to the black for ground.
When the headlights are on low beam, the LED driving lights are bright and normal. However, when I switch the headlights to high beam, the LED lights dim somewhat but remain on. By law they are supposed to turn off completely when the high beams are illuminated.
Does the low beam circuit still carry a current when the high beam circuit is activated?
