Loss of power 4th gear

Guys

in 4th about 4500 to 5000 revs bike just loses power, drops right off then picks right back up but then I'm changing to 5th. Havent wanted to remain in 4th to investigate urther on the offchance it does some damage. Bikes back in the shop anyhow for a bit for some other work but thought I'd see if anyone else experienced this?

Could be the rev limiter kicking in early. You can move the rev limit up using a Tuneboy or TuneECU and see if that is the problem. Otherwise I'd say your fuel map needs a serious tweak.

Agree with the fuel map being a likely suspect - gets past those revs in the other gears.
