Here are my bike's symptoms.

Starting the bike up for the season the check engine light came on. Then the light went off and when it did the bike began to miss so badly that the engine quit. Light comes on bike runs ok, light goes off and the engine spits and sputters. I parked the bike and eventually got it to the shop.

At the shop tech found a small vacuum line under the tank that mice had chewed on. Tech replaces line, replaces plugs, changes to fresh gas, does compression check (ok). Takes bike for run, bike runs good until suddenly starting to spit and sputter and die out. Tech returned to shop and replaces primary TPS and syncs injectors. Takes bike for run, runs good and suddenly goes back to spitting and sputtering. Returns to shop, bike shows no error codes and INJECTORS ARE OUT OF SNYC AGAIN. Bike does this again, ...so injectors will not stay synced. Tech stymied. Does not want to replace ECU without knowing for sure that is it, due to it being a very expensive part. I like him for that.

Talk to tech on phone and I suggest he contact Triumph and ask for help. Tech sends message and Triumph responds asking if we are putting in the right gas. Tech and I spend ten minutes on phone calling Triumph everything but helpful. Conclude they are POed about 1776.

At this point the problem is the injectors will not stay snyced. Has anyone had an issue like this? The bike has low miles and I always put racing fuel in it to avoid crummy gas and thought this would be better for the bike in storage. We have changed that gas out for fresh so that is not the problem. The battery did go dead during the winters but always took a charge in the spring. It is the original battery.

Thank you in advance.

PS. It is an 05, all stock except for a korbin seat. 5000 miles.

Loved the 1776 comment.
seriously If I asked the average joe on the street in the UK what happened in 1776 he or she would have no idea what I was talking about

I don't even think most brits understand that your independence day celebration is celebrating the fact that you kicked us out

Battery. There is no way it's that old and functioning properly. If your symptoms are that intermittent it makes sense for it to be the battery.

I installed a new ECM (T1299300) in my rocket and only get one squirt from the injectors on start up. The bike will not start but the injectors did fire all at once. Do the injectors fire simultaneously or are they sequenced? I am at a loss at getting mine running as everything checks good. Please keep us updated if you find a cure.
