Best thing to ward off rain is to put on rain gear when it looks like it's going to rain. Then you go all day without a drop, while sweating your balls off. 
Leave the rain gear at home and you get rain without a cloud in the sky.

Not true buddy. I rode with you all day and the worst of the rain went around us. Flash flood warnings and and it missed us.
Yea it rained a little but no one got really wet.
