Location of VIN 2005 rocket

I haven't looked but it's usually on a plate on the headstock (at the triple tree). Should be like a boiler plate, date of manufacter, VIN, model number, etc.

the easy to see one is right above front motor mount on frame as tnt said. some kind of weather resistant plastic. has all info. on it.

for future reference (fire/etc) only VIN is stamped on neck.

Or if you lift the saddle, theres another plate on the frame tube near the battery.

I still can't find mine, is it on the plastic cover around the frame or under it? I see the one on the neck but not on the frame under the seat or by the motor mount. My VIN ends 2211XX, does that help date it?
