To my knowledge the Roadster, Standard and Classic Seats will interchange regardless of year. I know for a fact that the seat off my '09 Standard would interchange with my '13 Roadster. The Touring Seats may not interchange with Roadster bikes I don't know...I've never fooled around with a Touring bike. Hope this helps.

And that’s what I was thinking also. I’m just considering the purchase of a used seat online so I’m a bit gun-shy to pull the trigger without hearing someone else say it.

LOL...I have stock seats in my shop from '05 to '13 and can never remember which is which so they get swapped around regularly when I need one. Buy it. As long as you aren't trying to swap from Roadster/Standard/Classic to Touring you should be fine.

The Corbins are hard as a rock but people swear it's the most comfortable seat they have ever had. I'm a cheap bastard and bought a AirHawk to go between my arse and the seat. Works really well.
I love my Corbin seat, but tis a love or hate thingy.
Next best for me was the stock seat with beads.
I found the air and gel pads were too loosey-goosey for serious twisty riding.
I think the roadster frame is wider than the tourer so seats cannot fit both...The Mustang seats are real comfy...but dont fit Roadster...i had one on my Storm when i owned it.
I have the stock seat, a one piece king and queen seat and a solo Corbin which i got from ISHRUB (on this forum)...the Corbin is my favorite. It is a tad hard when you first sit on it but once underway its awesome! Bum dont get sore cause it is a firm seat.
ISHRUB still has seats available i think.
Spend the money to get the honey applies to seats too!
