Kuryakyn Run-Turn-Brake Location

For those of you that are running K's RTB, where did you locate it to mitigate the heat that it puts out?

I had mine under the cover, but it was getting the sidecover so hot that I finally took it out when I was doing some rewiring. I want to reinstall it, but I cannot handle all of the heat on my leg.

Any guidance would be appreciated.

I have the unit under the right side cover. I haven't noticed any excessive heat. I did mount the relay to the frame where it would get better airflow. Maybe try that first ?

I use a pair of Signal Dynamics devices that serve the same purpose. Ie., they're not the curry flavored. Both units back to back are thicker than a pack of cigarettes but individually only a smidgen larger than a single small box of stick matches. Mine rest (back to back) comfortably under the seat and against the rear mud guard. One of the two near match box size units is for LED light application, which I don't have but it's there in the event I swing that way.
