Wow Nat, the bike looks great. The k and n filters and cut bearclaw turned out awesome. Love the chopped rear fender (really think I'm going to have to do that to mine). I think black headers with chrome shields will look good. Really nice combination of black and chrome. Glad to hear it's running strong. Well done.
Thanks Carl. The chop was bit of a headache as the light unit is rubber mounted to the inner bracket . I bought half a dozen led light units until I found the look I wanted and then fabricated the mount , indicator and number plate mount from scratch !

@Nat67
Holy Smokes nice job. Makes me want to get me a Roadster!!
The trim around the edges are great and that gold color on the rear shocks top and bottom really set them apart. Nice, Nice, Nice!

No the Platts go onto stock headers. The CES are available with either a collector outlet to match stock crossover pipe diameter and position as used with cat free TORs etc or wider if you want a longer single sided or twin CES or other aftermarket muffler system.

Those CES were originally mine with a stock collector outlet size, they were mated with a pair of stainless mufflers and cat free crossover that went to another happy owner on the forum.

I quite like the colour of the CES as they are now @Nat67 but go back to black heat shields on the headers. The chrome version goes that colour anyway with use and it saves polishing them repeatedly.
I like the look. My leg might get a bit warm with those headers on the touring model.

I gotta admit Norm , they do get kinda warm in traffic but not as bad as I thought they would and I spent over 20mins in a queue at the weekend . Perfect for warming yer pasties tho !
