Keeping Your R3 Shiny

this may be a sign of the apocalypse. I agree with imfasttoo.
lemon pledge works very well. It's a little tricky to great the chrome streak free but it's good stuff for the price.
Hey Les wonders will never cease

I use harley gloss it comes in an easy to use trigger spray and it does chrome and paint and not a bad smell either . Wife says i have Obsessive Compulsive Disorder because i ride the bike then clean it ...what can you do

No, the true sign of the end is when a Brit uses a product from the most hyped American corporation of all time on one of the finest products ever produced by his faded empire!

Have you no shame at all, man?

I'm quite fond of Plexus. Can use it on pretty much every bit of the bike, cleans & polishes. Local Triumph dealer recommended it too, for the same reasons I use it. Good stuff.

Polish and wax threads are like oil threads. Everyone has a favorite and everything else is ****.....

Me, I'm cheap so I'm like Daryl, sort of. I use Honda Pro-Polish in a spray can or the generic derivitave for the bike

I use hydrogen peroxide in a spray bottle for bug removal on the windscreen and bits, prior to washing. H2o2 dissolves the bugs, water flushes them away, no scrubbing.

I don't have one can or bottle of (snake oil) aka: commercially sold wax, in my shop, not one other than Pro-Polish. Why have a bunch of stuff when you can limit your inventory and save money.

Finally, on the black motor, I use high pressure silocone spray and an old 1" paintbrush (to get it into the nooks and crannies) around the motor. Put it on and forget it. Makes the black satin again with no work.

That'd what I'm all about.

My bearman has used lemon liquid pledge for years and years on things like getting the bugs off the front areas (windscreen, lights, etc.). Also uses it to touch up in between complete washes. Just make sure you get it all off or you will have an additional dirt magnet. For the bugs spray it on and then let it set a few minutes before wiping it off.

I think he finds the small cans of lemon pledge at dollar stores to wrap and old towel around it and then puts in saddle bags. Larger can from wally world is kept in shop. One time he couldn't find them so he bought the generic. I didn't like those because they ran everywhere when I sprayed them on.

These days I am also a Lemon Pledge convert - works great on everything, including my gloves!
