K & N RX-4040-1 filters

Does anyone have RX-4040-1 filters as I'm just about to splash out on 3 . Pro's and con's ?

Any thoughts ?

P.s I don't mind chopping up the bear claw to fit them .

..yep, me and Will at least..throw the claw on the shelf..we redneck engineered some plumbing PVC pieces to go between the throttle bodies and the filters so ya can 'twist' the filters up closer to the tank and not be a bother to your leg when riding..I did some pics of the method but who knows where it may be now..

Here is a pic of the set up Rkt88 is mentioning. It isn't a close up of the setup but you can see how it looks without the bearclaw at least. This is Will's bike with my stock black bike behind it.
