I just found a box with 3 K&N RU2780 filters and the other two smaller filters that are used for the triple filter setup. I installed the 2780's but removed them nearly immediately when the canned tune from Tuneboy didn't work very well. The little filters are unused. I no longer have the R3. I have a better, though less powerful bike (T-Bird w/BB kit).

$25 takes it! E-mail me at dougl@dri.edu. I don't check this forum anymore.

I don't enjoy riding the Triumph flagship either and power scares me so I'm thinking of DOWNgrading to a smaller girlie bike too.

I liked the R3 fine but after 8 years I got bored with it and sold it thinking I was going to give up motorcycling (after 43 years). That lasted about a month and then I started test driving bikes.

If I hadn't had a big Triumph, I would definitely recommend the Roadster 1st, especially now that it has ABS brakes. The power just MUST be experienced. However, after struggling with the R3 (I'm 5 '9" and 165 lbs) the T-Bird is a bit easier to deal with.

Ah! the difference a few small words make: I have a better, for me,though less powerful bike (T-Bird w/BB kit).
