JW Speaker 8639 Evolution LED headlights

Happened to note that JW Speaker have upgraded their 8630 model (5.75 inch PAR46) headlight - the news item on their site is from the 7th, yesterday as of this writing.

In case any Rocket pilot with twin 5.75-inch headlights happens to be looking for more oomph in the lighting. These beasts have 2900 raw lumens and if they have a light pattern resembling that of the 8700 Evo 2, they will light up a lot.

Good grief!! I have the 8630 Evo's installed and they light up the road like Apollo's Chariot. I can't imagine them getting brighter!!

Has anyone tried just tried replacing the H4s with LEDs?

Just to clarify, I'm talking about just replacing just the bulbs themselves for $65 each, not spending hundreds to replace entire light and reflector.
