Back to the OP, looking at the Royal Enfields, with NO personal experience, I see they are sold in the US (not too far from you), seem to have an attractive price point, and the US models (I'm guessing in order to meet emissions standards) are fuel-injected. I note the Himalayan has a carburetor, and not sure why anyone would do that these days, except they are cheap and there are plenty of souls remaining in India and Nepal who know how to work on them.
