I wanted to see if it had the upgrade, and if there was anything that I should be aware of. This is such a small community, I think there is a pretty good chance that I might find the previous owner.

You should be able to call any Triumph dealer with your Vin Number, and they can look up the records to see if it's had the upgrade.
