JUST BACK FROM A BIKING WEEKEND AWAY WITH THE LADS TO YORKSHIRE . HAD A GREAT TIME LOTS OF ENGLISH BREAKFASTS AND LOTS OF BEER , GOOD MUSIC AND GOOD COMPANY. ANYWAY TO MY TALE , ON THE WAY BACK A GROUP OF ABOUT TEN SPORTS BIKES CAME PAST US AT THE SPEED OF LIGHT BUT ABOUT A MILE UP THE ROAD THEY HAD TO STOP AT SOME ROAD WORKS. WE STOPPED BEHIND THEM JUST AS IT WAS OK TO GO , THEN THE VOICE IN MY HEAD SAID GO WITH THEM HOOKY GO WITH THEM. YOU SHOULD HAVE SEEN THE LOOK OF DISBELIEF ON THE TAIL ENDERS FACE WHEN AT 100 HE CHECKED HIS MIRROR AND FOUND A ROCKET 3 TOURER FULLY LOADED WITH CAMPING GEAR ABOUT FOUR FOOT OFF HIS BACK WHEEL. I ONLY BACKED OFF WHEN HE STARTED TO MOVE OVER TO LET ME PASS. MADE MY DAY.

yea, go there now and again. its the sort of place we go when we're stumped for a destination for a ride out, its only an hour from me taking the scenic route. wednesday nights can see 2 thousand bikes there. just got to have eyes in the back of your head cos plod cruises the area on unmarked bikes and cars, even helicopters when the urge takes them.they can't stand folks enjoying theirselves
